Stephen M. Abdalla (Steve) is our Medical Practice Sales Group (MPSG) affiliate in the Hawaiian islands serving healthcare professionals on Oahu, Kauai, Big Island, and Maui. 

Steve is the owner, President and Principal Broker of Kahala Business Services, the exclusive Hawaii franchisee of VR Business Brokers. He has assembled the largest and most skilled team of business brokers in Hawaii – more than 12 agents strong on all four islands.

Steve was named the “Most Valuable Intermediary” (MVI) in the worldwide VR network for 2006. VR has more than 110 offices and 500 business broker agents. VR Business Brokers selects one MVI each year from its worldwide network to recognize outstanding contributions to the company in sales, marketing and organizational development.

Steve is the only business broker on Oahu honored with the International Business Brokers Association’s prestigious designation of "Certified Business Intermediary" or "CBI". A CBI is a proven professional whose experience, education, knowledge and ethics is supported and documented by the industry’s leading trade association.

Prior to founding VR Hawaii, Steve served as Vice President of Marketing of Launch Pad, one of California’s premier sales and marketing consulting firms. At Launch Pad, Abdalla helped launch more than thirty start up companies, most of them venture capital financed, with invested capital ranging from $250,000 to $50 million. For these clients, Abdalla was instrumental in systematizing all aspects of the launch process, including marketing strategy & positioning, segmentation, identity & business systems, Internet design and strategy, collateral, public relations, direct marketing programs, sales channels, and pricing strategies. The result: dozens of successful company launches, with one client acquired by Verisign for $750 million and another by Critical Path for $100 million.

Steve has an MBA from Stanford University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. Abdalla is a member of the International Association of Business Brokers, Honolulu Executives Association, and Small Business Hawaii. He enjoys historical novels, scuba diving, traveling, golfing (badly) and dining out at Honolulu’s many fabulous restaurants. He is married to wife Elena and has a son Alexander, 14
